Introducing the MODX Weekend

A few months before MODXpo, I started thinking about a different kind of conference to organise in 2014. As I have studied Hospitality Management before getting into the MODX business fulltime, one of the things that I was missing at conferences I attended over the past year was that bit of hospitality. Of treating attendees like guests, making their stay as pleasurable as possible and not sending them out to get their own lunch or dinner. Heck, why can't a conference arrange travel from transport hubs for international guests?

The idea of an all-inclusive conference was born.

September 19-22 of this year the first edition of the MODX Weekend, based on this idea of an all-inclusive conference, will take place just outside Utrecht, The Netherlands. It's a beautiful venue in the middle of a private forest which prides itself on hospitality - perfect for an all-inclusive conference that joins MODX and Hospitality together. There will be over 15 sessions (still firming up the schedule times, expect 18-22 in total) about MODX and Web subjects by great speakers from all over the world.
