Magic Preview 1.4.0

Magic Preview 1.4.0-pl has just been released with a couple of new additions. A big thanks to @jenswittmann for his contributions making this release possible!

There are two new system settings for Magic Preview:

  • magicpreview.custom_preview_css
  • magicpreview.custom_preview_tpl

Add the URL for your own custom CSS file to magicpreview.custom_preview_css and style the preview elements how you like. You can also provide a completely custom template file to change any of the HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Create a new file e.g. custom.tpl in the core/components/magicpreview/templates/ directory and then add the filename custom.tpl to magicpreview.custom_preview_tpl.

Previously on a resource edit form, there was both a Preview and a View button when using Magic Preview. This was sometimes confusing for editors and took up a fair bit of space. These have now been grouped together so the View button is an extension of the Preview button for a more compact view.
