Redactor 3.3: support for modAI

Today we're excited to share Redactor 3.3 with one major new feature: support for modAI

We talked about modAI and our adventure into AI with AIKit recently. There's a lot of hype and excitement around AI and we've been lucky enough to work with people from Sterc and MODX to figure out the best way to make AI work for us. For us that means we're investing what we learned building AIKit into modAI, and bringing support for it to our extras.

The first extra of ours that now supports modAI is Redactor.

With version 3.3, you can simply add "modai" as a toolbar button. The button will open the modAI Assistant with your selected text as context, allowing you to tell it to (re)write or improve it.

Optionally, you can configure quick prompts as well.

The quick prompts are essentially one-shot prompts that fire immediately when you click them (though you can continue to prompt the assistant to tweak things further). That means you can configure repeat actions quite easily, regardless if it's translating the content, proofreading, applying preferred tone of voice, tweak the length of the content, etc.

All of these features work great with Redactor 3.3, modAI 0.11+, on MODX3.

Definitely keep an eye out for the next modAI release as well (in development here!) which brings authoritative knowledge, agent support, and lots more improvements that will especially improve the way new content is generated.

Special thanks to @theboxer for his help on incorporating these features into Redactor.
