SimpleCart users: upgrade the Mollie Gateway

If you’re still using SimpleCart and processing payments via Mollie, you must upgrade the Mollie Gateway to v3.0.0 immediately.

The previous versions of the gateway rely on an outdated API that was shut down on December 31st. Until you upgrade, Mollie payments will not work.

If you’re using a recent version of SimpleCart, the upgrade is simple—just update the Mollie Gateway to v3.0.0 via the package manager. If you’re running SimpleCart pre-2.6, you’ll need to update SimpleCart first.

If you encounter issues after upgrading, ensure your API Key is correctly configured under Payment Gateways in SimpleCart’s Administration panel. If problems persist, feel free to contact us.

Important: SimpleCart will no longer be supported after December 31, 2025. We strongly recommend migrating to Commerce or another e-commerce solution before then.
