Magic Preview 1.5.1-pl has just been released bringing previews for VersionX reverts. Ensure VersionX 3.2.1+ is installed, activate the OnResourceMagicPreview event for the VersionX plugin and you'll see Magic Preview buttons appear for each delta in the versions tab.

Clicking the button will load a preview in a new browser tab of that resource, using the "before" state of the version delta. See how the change will look before you revert to it!

We've also fixed an issue where placeholder values, such as resource tags, were using cached values rather than the unsaved changes you want to see. Clearing the in-memory element cache was the key to fixing this one.

You can install Magic Preview (and VersionX) from the modmore package provider.
