Save the date: MODXpo 2027 is happening April 22-23
Save the date! We're excited to invite you to MODXpo 2027 on April 22-23, 2027 in Leeuwarden, five years after the last MODXpo.
Web development is changing fast, with AI turning things upside down every other week... last week was a great example of that.
MODX has always been a stable force, but is it adapting fast enough? Is it providing enough value for business users? How do we turn these challenges into opportunities, and what does the next era of MODX look like? And how does the core development adapts to AI?
At the upcoming MODXpo we're hoping to share and foster ideas, learn from practical experiences with AI to help you stay on top, and discuss ways we can all adapt. We won't have all the answers, but we will offer space to work side by side on keeping MODX relevant and a force for good for years to come. All that while sustaining the community and strengthening business and personal relations over food and drinks.
Oh... and we'll officially release ContentBlocks 2.0. At last. :)
Save the dates:
- Wednesday April 21st: ContentBlocks VIP Party (invite only)
- Thursday April 22nd: MODXpo Conference day
- Friday April 23: MODXpo Hackathon day
Tickets are expected to go on sale December 1st. Learn more about the venue, schedule, and where to stay in Leeuwarden:

The VIP Party on Wednesday is invite-only, for backers of the ContentBlocks 2.0 campaign. That is still open for a short time if you want to get an invite to that + early access to the alpha dropping later this week.
