Five years since the last MODXpo, we invite you to Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, for two days of MODX, practical AI, community, and the launch of ContentBlocks 2.0. Save the date: Thursday April 22nd for the main conference, and Friday April 23rd for the hack-a-thon to work on the next big era, together.
MODXpo's are community organized conferences dedicated to MODX. It's the place to be to learn about exciting developments, to build your network within the community, and a catalyst for the next big thing by putting smart heads together in the same room.
On Thursday April 22nd, 2027, we invite you for a full day of presentations and lightning talks. You'll learn from real projects from agencies and freelancers like yourself, see interesting use cases of AI in a world of bespoke development, and, finally, get to witness the official release of ContentBlocks 2.0.
On Friday April 23rd, 2027, we invite you to collaborate with other community members on interesting projects and the next era of MODX, hack-a-thon style. No matter if you're passionate about the core development workflow, design and UI, building new or updated extras: you'll find like-minded developers, designers, and business folk to sit together and work on concrete projects led by the MODX team.
Unable to travel to Leeuwarden? We'll be streaming the presentations, too! Get your online ticket
We're excited to finally see you again. 💙
Attend in-person
Nothing quite beats meeting and mingling with the MODX community in-person at a MODXpo. Renew existing friendships and partnerships within the MODX community, and build new ones over a shared lunch and drinks.
Ticket prices are subject to change. We're hoping to confirm enough sponsors before tickets go on sale on December 1st, to make lower prices possible.
Tickets for the Thursday conference day are €179, including coffee/tea/sodas and snacks all day, an extensive lunch buffet, a shared dinner and drinks for the evening, full access to the video of the presentations, and 21% VAT.
2-day tickets for Thursday + Friday hack-a-thon are €249, adding on day 2: coffee/tea/sodas and snacks all day, lunch, one hour open bar at the end of the event, and 21% VAT. We'll provide tables, power, the venue's wifi, and will suggest projects to work on.
Each ticket also includes a one-time 30% discount on a new ContentBlocks 2 license. You will receive the coupon code at the MODXpo during registration.
If over 50 tickets are sold or sponsorship exceeds expectations, we will extend the Friday with dinner and drinks at no extra cost. Ticket prices increase by €10 per day on February 1st.

If you can't make it to Leeuwarden, we invite you to experience the conference from the comfort of your own home or office. We'll be live-streaming with a multi-camera setup and live production, and you'll be able to chat and vote in polls live with others watching live.
Online Tickets are €39, which includes access to the live stream as it happens, with live chat, Q&A and polls, and one-month exclusive access to the video recordings before they are published publicly.
If you have any questions about the event, send us an email.
Tickets will go on sale soon, on December 1st.
Tickets are available for €179 (Thursday), and €249 (Thursday + Friday)
Ticket prices go up to €189 and €269 respectively on February 1st, 2027.
Online tickets will remain available for one month after videos are published. After that month, videos will go up on YouTube for everyone to see.
Tickets can be cancelled or changed for free until April 1st, 2027. Please email [email protected] if you need to cancel or change your ticket after that date.
After April 1st, 2027, you can still extend your ticket (e.g. upgrade from one day to two), but are no longer eligible for refunds as we'll have had to lock in the numbers with the venue.
For details, please review the terms and conditions.
We'll manage your access to the live stream, replay, and individual videos through your account. If you make sure to be signed in when buying your tickets, that will apply automatically.
We'd love to have you! Email [email protected] with your ideas, thank you!
Definitely! Enter the information when buying your ticket, or email [email protected] with details, and we'll make sure to pass it along to the kitchen staff.
