We're excited to bring you a diverse group of speakers from various backgrounds to talk about a mixed bag of topics. Expect to learn a lot more about ContentBlocks 2, practical AI, some front-end and back-end development, some business, and of course a lot of MODX.

Here's the full concept timetable for the MODXpo 2027. You don't have to memorize when your favorite speaker begins; the schedule will be printed on the back of your name badge.

Time CEST	Wednesday, April 21st
18:00—22:00	ContentBlocks 2.0 VIP Party Invite-only event for the people that supported the ContentBlocks 2.0 fundraiser. Dinner, drinks, and a short presentation by modmore founder Mark Hamstra to mark the official 2.0 release. If elibigle, you will receive a separate invite for this in december. (Note that MODXpo ticket is not included with the VIP party).

Time CEST	Thursday, April 22nd: Conference Day
9:30	Doors open & morning coffee Registration will be in the lobby. From there, we're (tentatively) in Studio Z, just down the hall, where you'll find the self-serve bar with coffee, tea, sodas, and something sweet to get the day started. We're giving you ample of time to connect with the community before starting the presentations. It's been years since some of you have seen each other after all!	Studio Z Z Leeuwarden
10:30	Welcome to the MODXpo 2027 Keynote, various presentations, and the release of ContentBlocks 2.0. For those joining us online, expect the live stream to be live from around 10:15.
12:30–14:00	Lunch Break Lunch buffet served in Grand Café Club Z. Please include dietary restrictions when purchasing your ticket.	Grand Café Club Z Z Leeuwarden
14:00	Presentations continued We continue the presentations and talks after lunch. Throughout the day, you have access to coffee, tea, and sodas from the self-serve bar in the room. There are also spaces to get some work done.
17:30	Show & Tell For the final segment of the day, we invite you to take the stage and show us an interesting project, MODX extra, or other accomplishment on screen. 5 minutes max, signup all day with Mark or at the production desk.
17:55	Closing After a full schedule, it's time to wrap things up and reflect.
18:00–22:00	Social Event & Dinner Join us for food and drinks and more conversations. A full buffet and drinks are included in your ticket (fully open bar dependent on ticket sales or sponsors). Please submit any allergies/dietary requests with your ticket, and identify yourself to the bar staff. Remember to drink responsibly. The social is booked until 22:00; the Grand Café Club Z may or may not stay open longer beyond that depending on other activities and number of tickets sold. We can use a couple of extra hands to set up and load out before and after the main program. If you're around and wouldn't mind helping out, let Mark know!

Time CEST	Friday, April 23rd: Hack-a-thon day
9:30	Welcome to the hack-a-thon Grab yourself some coffee and meet back in Studio Z for the hack-a-thon. We'll go over some concrete projects run by core team members, and also invite you to present your idea for a collaborative project to work on. After the presentations, we'll split into small groups to collaboratively work through and build the next big era of MODX. Throughout the day, you have access to drinks and snacks in the self-serve coffee corner. Wifi and power will be available at each table, as well as some flipovers and other materials. 12:00-14:00	Lunch buffet From noon, there'll be a lunch buffet available to fuel you for the rest of the day served in the Café. There's no mandatory break time - so if you're in the flow you don't have to pause right away, and you can go and come back as you please. 16:00-17:00	Presenting the results We invite one contributor for each project to come up on stage and present what they've worked on and accomplished, and how to take their project to the next level moving forward.	Studio Z Z Leeuwarden
17:00-18:00	Wrap-up and drinks A couple of final drinks and some snacks... and then it's a wrap. Thanks for joining us! If over 50 tickets are sold, we will expand the Friday with dinner and drinks at no extra cost.	Grand Café Club Z Z Leeuwarden

Volunteers

We could use a few extra hands for setting up, running the event, and taking out our equipment afterwards. If you'd like to lend us a hand, please let us know!

Open roles:

Host: presenting the different speakers and keeping the flow of the event running on time.
Video Production: controlling cameras and video switching for the live stream.
Set-up and load out: help packing gear and decor in and out.

Ahead of the event, we also welcome and and all help with:

Promotion: creating content and inviting speakers and attendees
Sponsoring: finding sponsors to help cover the costs

Present at the MODXpo 2027

We're looking for speakers to take the stage during the MODXpo. If you have an interesting project showcase, a cool extra to highlight, or have been working on practical AI implementations and how that relates to MODX... we want to hear from you!

Speakers receive a free two-day ticket, plus a speaker fee depending on experience, length of the talk, and bonuses scaling with the total number of tickets sold.
