AI Policy
In the interest of transparency, this AI policy explains how we employ AI and LLMs in our day-to-day work.
Marketing
We use AI to help draft and improve content.
We usually start with an outline or initial draft of a newsletter, blog post, or other piece of content, run that through AI to catch typos, grammar, and improve the structuring, before we incorporate it and continue fine-tuning to fit our style and ensure the messaging is correct and accurate.
We don't run AI-powered workflows where content is created and published automatically without review.
Support
Through the chat widget on the website, you are able to interact with a chatbot that is trained on our Knowledge Base and Documentation. This is useful for quick checks of how something works or what extensions might be available, but it does not perform any actions (like license resets) and does not have access to your account information.
When you email us at [email protected], a human reads, writes, and replies to you. In some cases we use AI to reformat or proof read a response, but we consider support the most important way we interact with you, so we make sure that's a human's job.
Development
A growing chunk of our development includes AI-supported workflows. We find the speed and quality of AI has improved significantly in 2025/2026 that it is now helping us accomplish more in a shorter amount of time.
Practically this means that in many cases we can have AI working on fixing an identified bug while at the same time we draft a response to your bug report.
In every single part of the process, from prioritization to inclusion in a release, humans are involved and in control. We review all AI-generated code before it is committed and ensure it meets our standards and doesn't introduce "slop".
